Good evening everyone, I recently went down to Cambridge and left the Morgan in a multi story car park, when I returned, someone had deliberately scratched the inside of my windscreen, why? I have had drop heads since my first car in ’64, a rather expensive 1933 MG J2, well I say expensive, it was £ 15. I have never known such vandalism! And so to the point, has had this problem? How do I remove the scratches from a windscreen, they are not that deep, this windscreen is not a year old!

Sorry to hear that Max, put it down to jealousy I guess.
Can't help with the scratch removal I'm afraid.

Idiots, that do not know the difference between yours and mine. Yeah, okay, it sounds like a Daily Mail letter, but things like that annoy the heck out of me. Some people won't even leave a bicycle alone and jut kick it or bang on it with something hard. I mean, I can sort of understand theft, because at least they get something. But vandalism? What the hell are people thinking!?

That's just terrible and stupid
Why on earth the windscreen?
Light scratches can be polished out with polishing compound but if you can feel it with your nail then there's very little chance of getting it out successfully

That's shite, I hope your insurance covers it. Have you asked the car park to check their CCTV?

To polish out light scratches

Felt polishing pad on a polishing arbour, jewellers rouge or glass polishing compound and water spray so as not to burn

But having tried to polish glass scratches left by our decorators on toughened glass using paint scrapers - it's not easy, it's messy and only successful on light scratches

Sorry to hear that your mog's been damaged and after 35 years in the club, it's the first time I have heard of a Morgan being vandalised.

Blimey.

What sort of place has Cambridge become ?

Astounded that someone would vandalise a Mog; they are such un-threatening cars.
