Hi, This is Kaspar from the Netherlands. We just celebrated our first anniversary of sharedriving the Morgan! Four guys who didn't know each other thought that buying together and starting a club owning the car was a good idea. One in every four weeks you're the lucky one and that is no problem. Most of us have quite enough wheels at our disposal for other purposes, so sharing is easy. We averaged 5.000km last year on the august 2012 second dealer LHD test car. Overall mileage is now at 13.000km. We had our share of trouble with both exhausts broken, a badly adjusted belt with enormous wear caused by sand (says the dealer) and both immobilisers immobilised (we had it removed). In between lots of fun of course!

Brilliant idea... Common enough concept for boats and aircraft, but why not for a M3W!!
I just need to find a couple of other people to share with!!

What a great arrangement it sounds like you boys are having plenty of fun. Who knows maybe others will be encouraged to dive into a similar arrangement on TM.

Never share a car, a wife or a fountain pen. (... that was the rule wen I was young)
Nowadays: Car? A whole industry lives on rented cars Wife? As long as she is married to someone else its fun Fountain pen? If you still have one you know the rule makes sense.
Hannes once: Green M3W; 2013 now: Red 4/4 Sport; 2011 and some practical cars for use in real life

...as said Tommy Earl Bruner in Baja Oklahoma However.....does the M3W do any of those things ? You do know that those clever renderings which Jay produced of flying M3Ws weren't real ? Well done Kaspar & partners. I think that the idea of sharing toys is an excellent one IF you can find the right partners who are all singing from the same song sheet, why not indeed with something like the M3W

Sharing a Mgn 3 wheeler for a 1 week in 3 or even 4 ownership spin... what a brilliant idea esp as owning exclusively when two other sports cars and no garage does make the £25 k or so for a 3 yr old one seem a little excessive in my own case for example. Wonder how it works administratively /legally/ insurance wise in terms of running costs and things going 'ping' under your watch so to speak ? Or when one co-owner decides can't continue...but am sure Kasper has this sorted given his enthusiasm. Interesting concept indeed.
