I live on the border of lancashire with north yorkshire, student at loughborough studying Automotive Materials Engineering. The busy days of work return for me as I travel upto Perth for the holidays.

On the surface the ethos of the Aero 8 is very different to the 360 CS. I don't expect the Aero 8 to match the handling finesse of the Stradale and although there are some similarities - the lightweight construction for one - at the very least it is an interesting, characterful alternative that I hope to own for many many years.

I'd agree with your comments completely. They also seem to be mirrored by quite a few others as you're not the first person to find Morgan after ownership of a niche model from a larger volume car company. We have other owners who have owned (still own) anything from a GT3, RS, Stradale, Atom to a Westfield (etc) before succumbing to the charms of Malvern's finest.

Interestingly I hope to have the opportunity to try these back to back on the track soon. The Autodromo do Algarve have obtained an full blown 360 Challenge race car which they use for their 'taxi experiences' at track days. I am hoping to try this out back to back with my own S1 Aero at a track day in May. I know it is a bit more race than the road going Stradale model but it will be an interesting comparison. flag

In 2007, I drove a 360 Challenge Stradale at a Ferrari experience day at Goodwood and then some 10 days later, drove my Series III on the same track at Mog007. My impression at the time was that the Aero had more grunt and it was potentially faster down the straights, but the 360 was on slicks so cornering speeds were much higher and you hit the straights carrying much more speed from the corner. For the same reason it was not possible to compare the handling or cornering ability. woohoo

Anyway Robert, a belated welcome and I'm sure you'll enjoy the car very much. Like Kin I am somewhat surprised at your forbearance, I think that I would be at Berrybrook's tomorrow. laugh2
Let's hear how they do compare in due course... englandwave

Not at all Brain, everytime I uses one of the big words in front of my CEOs, you could tell they're pretty impressed, and I could then ask for a pay rise rofl
