Good morning to everyone.

I would like to buy a set of rubber mats but I'm struggling to locate a supplier. Plenty of choices for generic mats but I can't find anything tailored to my car. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Over carpets are available at Allon Whites but never seen tailored rubber mats for our cars, maybe some sheet rubber could be bought from Car Builder Solutions or similar and using your existing carpets as a template cut some to fit? Probably a lot cheaper as well? Please post your findings as its a good idea for winter/muddy use!

I found the standard rubber mats too flimsy and prone to rucking up, so I bought a couple of A2 sized sheets of 6mm rubber matting from Amazon and cut my own.

Nice and heavy so they stay in place without needing to be secured down which means they are easy to pull out for cleaning, and the additional thickness provides a bit more noise damping too.

I bought a multi purpose set of rubber mats from Halfrauds and cut them down to size - with care a good tidy fit can be achieved. And they were fairly cheap.

Thanks all. Tims solution sounds the way to go. Switching to Amazon shopping app now!

If its not too late, you could try carmats4u.com. They list a variety of tailored mats/carpets including Morgan but only list 4/4 2 seater of 1936-52 vintage! Might be worth a word with them to check dimensions.

No connection, other than previous user for other vehicles, but found them to be good quality and reasonably priced.

Thanks Pete. I noticed the date restrictions as well. Seems a bit strange to me!

I've ordered a roll of 6mm rubber sheet 1m by 1.4m for £19. I'll use the existing mats as templates.

Did exactly that but with 3mm. Looks surprisingly nice!

I'm another who cut rubber sheet using existing mats as a template. This was for a Caterham and it worked very well.
