Gajet's silver AeroMax has been in the workshop for the last few months so if anyone has been around the factory recently and seen one it could be his

Gajet's silver AeroMax has been in the workshop for the last few months so if anyone has been around the factory recently and seen one it could be his Gajet's car is not a 'Max but a Coupe - and a lovely one it is too. Are there problems with it?

Our Coupe has just gone back again. Seems to be something they all have in common.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Are there problems with it? Oops yes you're right He did tell me at the MSCC AGM but I can't remember what the problem was

This Aeromax was in the factory tucked away in a corner early on last year it was totally stripped inside and our tour guide told us it was the car that Charles used, it was going to be totally refurbed and going into the Morgan museum.Clearly not..
Em Current MMC management selling the Crown Jewels?  I hope it was repaired/refurbed properly. I was told (by someone in the MMC metal shop) that Charles had picked up a number of parking dings on the rear end which had just been patched with filler because it would take too long to strip down the internal structure and beat the dents out from the inside. Company cars, eh? It certainly was properly repaired in the end with a full strip down. Sadly the rather lovely (and expensive!) liquid silver finish was replaced by a more standard metallic silver so the car is not quite as stunning as it first was.

The only Max I've ever ridden in, Charles' Dixon drove me up Prescott in it

It certainly was properly repaired in the end with a full strip down. Sadly the rather lovely (and expensive!) liquid silver finish was replaced by a more standard metallic silver so the car is not quite as stunning as it first was. Agreed, shame about the colour change. Liquid Silver is the ultimate colour for a 'Max. Standard 'Speed' Silver is a Smart Car colour which probably explains why it is cheaper than a McLaren paint job!!

I seem to remember Morgan lost the famous MMC number plate through a sale ,i think it was someone on here at the time that had bought the car with plate.

I believe two well-known posters on here have both owned that plate during their stewardship of the post-Sturdza pre-production Aeromax example. I don't think the current owner is a forum member... Be delighted to be proven wrong
