While installing my custom pedal modification, one of the master cylinder output ports broke off the casting. It did not take much, so I a bit glad it happened here and not on the road.

I am looking for the Caparo OEM replacement for it. No US dealers that I can find have it in stock. Worried about the 2-18 weeks it takes to get factory parts. Can anyone tell me of a parts shop that may have it in stock?

I've considered replacing it with an aftermarket Wilwood, but I've read that the proportioning may be embedded in the Caparo unit, so I'd rather not disrupt that.

Thank you.

Somewhat of a concern that it fractured so easily. Should not happen.

Sounds like a casting flaw. I'd keep it and return it to them for comment and inspection, even after replacing it.
