Good evening all

Just got back from a drive and went to shut the easy up roof to find the weld on the lh side (join between front cross bar and side bar with hold down clip) has snapped.

What I am after finding out is how to strip the canvas down so it can get welded, the metal not the canvas banghead and of course rebuilt afterwards. It is on a 2008 easy up lid with mohair.

Many thanks

Gaz

That was quick, many thanks Ken.
Take it was just as simple to refit without too much adjustment.

Yes, but you'll probably have to get a new rubber seal. I couldn't get mine out without damaging it.

Hi Ken,
Roof stripped, welded, and refitted and with the rubber seal still in one piece.
Thanks for your help.
