Hello!
Is here someone who made a picture of the backside from side panels with door pockets (door with side impacts)?
I am looking for some more space for maps and sunglasses for a car without door pockests..

It would be easier to get elasticated door pockets. Allon Whites did mine and they are excellent

I think that the crash bars will prevent you from cutting the panels to create the old style door pockets. As John says, better off having the elasticated pockets fitted.

I too had Allon White make a set for my non elasticated door pocket 2004 4/4. Not only good quality but actually about twice the storage capacity of the factory fitted pockets on my current car and made a surprising difference to the usability of the car

I live in Germany, so it is expensive and difficult to order special parts in GB!
After having a look behind the door panel I am thinking about a combination/ mix from the old "hole in the door version" and the now from MMC offered "door pocket" !
On pictures it looks like MMC makes a slot in the plywood to fix the elastic door pocket on the backside of the door panel. That is the reason I am looking for pictures from the backside of the "new" door pocket.
