A twinge of regret that the 3-Wheeler has gone, but you have bought yourself the finest of all possible Morgans, and are therefore to be heartily congratulated! cheers

The end of an era?
Mind you don't get stricken by claustrophobia behind the enormous windscreen on the 4/4.

Aero screens are the answer. Love mine in hot weather.

Ah, but there is hot weather and hot weather. Down here, in summer, I will probably drive the 4/4 with the hood up!

Driving the M3W on an average July/August day was like being in a sauna. I did more miles 'out of season' and enjoyed it most on cold but sunny days, fully togged up with leather jacket, balaclava and gauntlets.

Good luck with the 4/4 Peter. A nice choice.....the purest Morgan in my view.

So may we look forward to a rather excellent book on the 4/4 in due course?

Congrats on the 4/4 & I hope it's everything you want it to be.

Gosh

I shall read the last chapter of Peters book with a tinge of sadness tonight

No! I had great fun with the 3 Wheeler but I decided that I wanted something slightly more practical - so that it would be possible to drive in rain, for example. And anyway, the warranty runs out in September...

As for the idea of a book, no thanks! Writing car books is like banging your head against a wall - it's pleasant when you stop. Also, there are plenty of 4/4 books out there already. The thing with the 3 Wheeler book was that, by chance, I had a unique insight into how it had all happened and I felt compelled to tell the story.

I am greatly enjoying not writing a car book this year.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Morgan only made the Three Wheeler unreliable so they could sell trads. to people like us, who had been bitten by the Morgan bug, but wanted something more reliable and comfortable. There must be at least half a dozen TM folk who are now 4 wheeled owners having started on three?
