We keep the seats in the same position. I did consider a sacrificial film Richard, but I just couldn't get an acceptable finish. The perspex is a dust magnet and it looked appalling. It would be easy to space the windstop away from the head restraints using neoprene........ but perspex easily develops light swirl marks as a consequence of its dust magnet properties. Plastic polish doesn't help much, so I've replaced the Roadster windstop once and I'm on the verge of changing Mr Bumble's - maybe at the end of this year. The other problem, when touring is that luggage will easily mark the perspex, and we fill the space behind the seats, so with the hood up, as it was all the way down to Bridgwater last Saturday, it's a squeeze. Last year for Scotland I didn't take it in the end. That all sounds problematical, but MrsW approves and it does make a big difference so is worth the effort!

Dave I see it’s as a tool to do a job so wont get too precious about it. When I get out the car I can whip it off and hide it behind the seat if necessary. If it gets too tatty I will buy another sheet, use it as a template, whiz the jigger around and 30 mins later a new wind-stop. Easy PS – I wonder if this would solve the antistatic problem? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ANTI-STATIC-SC...=item25722dda6e

I have a windstop that a previous owner got for the car. It fits to brackets on the inner sides of the luggage shelf, can be adjusted, has a flap that fits the hood/tonneau cover press studs to cover the luggage shelf. It is a "see through mesh" type with a zipped stowage bag. It no longer fits due to my rollbar. Soon to be advertised in the For Sale section. I used it a couple of times. There are photos on talkmorgan section in Photobucket, and I posted them in another thread last year I think.

One came fitted to the Roadster but the cast iron brackets have failed. Not sure if they can be repaired.
