First tempted with a plus +8 when 17, by a friend of a friend, but practicality stopped me. I was young and silly, probably still applies.
1st Morgan a +8 in 2011 age 52
2nd a Roadster in 2014 age 56
Originally went to MSCC local meets and found them mainly dull eating events, the events at car shows and drive were quite good. Now tend to go to Events I hear of on TM and local car shows. Met some great Morgan owners and made some friends through TM.

Just bought my first Morgan at the grand old age of 44....... Apparently too old to drive the Lotus that I sold but too young for a Morgan...... Loving every minute though Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Morgan Where are you based ?

Hi Stewart,
I'm based in Essex, I spent a long time looking for the right car and was initially looking at Roadsters...hence my long-on name. I ended up buying a +4 so have bit of a misrepresentation 😕

Well done Tom at 31. I had plans to have had mine by the time I was 28. If I had ordered a new one when I was about 20 they were on an 8 year lead time then. If I were you, make sure you don't get married/have kids as you're likely to end up like the rest of us having to wait again until you're about 50 before you can buy one!

Bought mine at 52 currently 53 Missus just suggested I get one while I can still drive one! She didn't have to suggest it twice.....

Sorry gents I must be the youngest on here only 11 1/2 years old as birthday is the 29th feb. Like the queen I have 2nd birthdays the other on the 5th of may. Still do not know why 5th have asked both parents but 2 different story's
