Dropped my car off with Russell on Saturday to have the bar fitted. I do not have the quote to hand at the moment but with the cost of the bar (£750ish) and what must be about 12hrs labour, cost is in the £1750 area. There is a fair amount of work to get the base frame in,
Andy

I'll be interested to see some photos of the Aero Racing roll bar fitted...I've had a good look at the Librands one fitted to a car at Allon Whites and the one in Bulldogs 4/4 at Curborough yesterday (well, I hope it was his car!) which I assume from his previous posting is by Safety Devices.

As far as my dealer told me, the Aero Racing one is produced by safety devices, and features a FIA sertificate. I hope its not too tall, but the dealer assures me my 9-stud hood will fit without problems.
I was quoted a 6 hour fitment by my dealer, they got it as a suggested fitment time from Aero Racing.

The Aero Racing/Safety Devices bar fits under a nine stud hood without any problem. If I can find an easy way to load photos I will forward them.

Hi JJM
Excellent pictures of your installation. You mention a restriction re recline - but does the seat still push all the way back?

Hi Jonmog, It does go all the way back but the top corner of the seat is pressed into the edge/flange where the hoop is bolted on the subframe. If left in that position the leather gets a bit dented and could get scuffed. I put some padding in between. Cheers J

Is it possible to email me photos of your roll bar installation. I'm considering doing the same for my 2011 plus four sport
