And no seat belts either....presumably due to ACU regs? Seems a strange ruling if that is the case.

One of the F Types rolled on the first lap. Father (driver) and daughter (passenger) team.

I think she was thrown out of the car, but was ok. He was taken to hospital for check ups to his neck and back. He returned to the circuit later.

I didn't see the car, but was told its probably a write off....

I could be wrong , but I am sure I have read it goes back to the early cycle car days, and when bike combinations were first being developed it made sense at the time for sporting purposes to group cycle cars and combinations together, which is where the Acu link comes from.
Can anyone confirm this?

Woh - that's nasty. Really hope they were OK. It looks as if the car went wide on the exit and the read wheel went up onto the kerbing and probably onto the grass. The inevitable spin might have been relatively straightforward and uneventful in a 4-wheeler, but when spinning like that backwards, the instability of 3 wheels is there for all to see. Sobering stuff. Maybe I'll be a little more careful when on track this year at Goodwood.....

Yes, it's a replica of what nearly happened to Tiff Needell - and he was not wearing a helmet.

Oh dear - that is painful to watch

I hope the driver and passenger weren't hurt

That's a bit ambiguous

there is just 'OK' like they are stable in hospital or 'OK' still alive but wearing neck braces

Or

There is 'OK!' - absolutely fine and dandy, not a scratch and everyone had a jolly good laugh
