I drove it as a one way tunnel - at least no traffic came from the other side Was somewhere between Sospel and Moulinet in France (if I don't mix things up)
Could it have been just north of the Cinque Terre ? One of your photos shows a clifftop town like Riomaggiore near there. We went through a similar tunnel a couple of years ago and it was two way, but controlled by traffic lights as it was so narrow and went on for ages. We wondered what was happening as we sat in the queue at the lights, and people got out wandered around and had a smoke !
Thanks to the iPhone and GPS tracking of each picture I was able to locate the tunnel at Col de Castillon, half way on the road from Menton to Sospel. (the 2 grey lines in the center of the map)
The village on the rock (pic nr. 4) is most likely Corniglia, the only one of the Cinque Terre without harbor.
