After a more and more ratteling car, my turn to have my compensator changed under garantee . My dealer agreed to this and put the new one in order, telling me that Morgan will not upgrade or give me the possibility to pay the difference for the Centa drive ... But having a talk with the Mecanic which I questioned about the compensator, told me that he just have changed one on a M3W and that the new one would not float in the grease any more but is settled in a rubber.
Is that by miracle the Centa or just an upgrade from the old compensator?!?
Cheers, Georges
M3W, Super Dry edition, sep. 2013 ...called 'DogNose'
I am still not satisfied with the "new" compensator in my 2014. I still have to keep the revs up around 3000 rpm to avoid the rattle. I hope the life of the Centa will be better though. I can live with the aggressive driving style.

I was able to observe the innards of a Centra compensator when mine was being installed. It has three large rubber rods inside to take up the twisting load. No grease.
