True hairdresser mentality.
I cannot understand softtop owners with good hoods not dropping them at every opportunity. Easy to put up when heavy rain starts so why drive with them up?
Mentality of a Chelsea Tractor driver in a city!
OK I have driven hood up very occasinally when I couldn't be bothered to lower it for a short run.....but come on!

think I only have my hood up for 72 hours a year. (except when I go to Le Mans, and it always rains)

OK I have driven hood up very occasinally when I couldn't be bothered to lower it for a short run.....but come on! Absolutely... Discovered on Friday the "stay dry" speed at which the Plus 8 is perfect in the rain is between 55 and 60mph. This is a problem in town, so had to put the hood up.

So what,s the big issue guys anybody thought beyond ooh! You are a wimp because you are driving with the hood up? When the sun shines . Skin cancer for example! I prefer the hood down but would not want to put pressure on people who are not medically fit and make them feel uncomfortable. We have all paid for our cars so we can do what the hell we like!! Let everyone enjoy the driving!

I must confess I thought that black thingy was provided by Morgan as a groundsheet to stop your rug ( not toupe rug) from getting damp on wet grass.
