See the advertisement on page 26 of Miscellany. 'Now starting at only £29,995'.

It would be great if you could order a stripped down 4/4 without a windscreen. You could then run it with Aeroscreens without all the hassle of removing the screen pillars.

Hopefully they've not just devalued the new-ish Morgans that are already out there ...

The MMC ad on p26 in Miscellany is clearly printed...£29995 inc VAT +OTR

Have called Allon White - the car does not come with screen or hood/sidescreens etc - this adds £4725 to the price.

So its a stripped down 4/4 ( sport) very basic entry version.

Well, fair play to them for offering it

fit a couple of aero screens, get a trimmer or dealer to make a nice fitted tonneau cover that zips across the passenger seat and for an extra £700 or so (including some stylish goggles) you have a a 4/4 Speedster and a lot of fun

just a shame black wire wheels now command another £420 when we all know its just blatant margin boosting as black wheels have become fashionable and will have been the most popular choice

There will be absolutely no cost difference between a silver coated wire wheel and a black one

In fact if its anything like my business - a silver metallic look powder coating is slightly more in cost

I think it's tremendously sad when a small & bespoke firm such as Morgan use menu pricing tactics. Be honest now, how many people will choose no windscreen or roof in todays age? It's a joke.

Can you imagine BMW/Merc et al offering a car without a heater? Of course not.

I think it's fair to offer cost options, but a roof & windscreen? Someone needs a chat with themselves..

An eccentric decision?
An idiotic decision?
An accountant's decision?

But the Emperor's New Clothes comes to mind.
