In Gomog Melvyn Rutter says he can supply kits to convert to splines.
£2400+ for kit with hubs,spinners,5xchromed wires.

The sub £30k 4/4 was mentioned at the staff meeting today and lo and behold, there is one in build at the moment! a rather nice Sport Grey with black leather interior, no door pockets, Sport body...so no spare and a traditional aero screen.

It did look rather tasty and especially nice without the holes for the missing screen pillars and wipers. Lacking a hood and fitted with tonneau it would rather tick my boxes!

Was it one fitted or two and what style ?

Must be a good combination the basic car in a spec like the 3W. I like my 4/4 as it is with a roof and heater but I also liked three wheels and the basics for some time!

The more I think about it the more it appeals

I passed a Green Morgan this morning heading South on the M6 this near Preston, tearing down the outside lane, full pelt, no sidescreens, the driver wearing goggles with long hair billowing

I thought that's who this sub £30K 4/4 is aimed at

I'm with them in spirit and it does appeal and I think after the initial hilarity and incredulity of realising this price doesn't buy you windscreen, wipers, hood and side-screens, Morgan have to be applauded for having the vision of offering this car in this format and price

Ummm interesting. One of those occasions when less is more. Must confess I'd quite like a go in one. A sports exhaust & some racing roundels would make it look like a lot more expensive car. I would go for red/mulberry leather if possible with the sport grey.

Long ago, before I sold my BV8, I was taken out in an oldish Plus 8 with aero screens as a taster. It was a warm summers day and it was quite an experience. But not all days are warm and summery so I don't crave aero screens, and getting that past MrsW would be impossible.

But she's happy without a roof for most of the time, which is good.

Well, I'm not impressed..

In fact, I'm almost grumpy..

Have to say I can't even get the side screens off when comes out, even if there was a Dubai heatwave going on. Everybody knows I'm out in the car alone when the side screens are off so no chance for me getting the aero screens even though I would like to try one!
