That's one of those clever ideas that are obvious once somebody suggests them. I'd have put that in my book. So now we know there's going to be a second book about tuning and tips on the M3W You have to associate yourself with Molly for the How To manuals One reserved to me please
Cheers, Georges

Great tip , but arnt those 9 screws holding down the plastic tray the same size ? ( guessing M5 ) Why do you need 1 M4 ? Morgan probably saved 2 pence by using a M4 screw on the back... But think how much they had already saved by going from eleven screws in the early cars to nine later on. That's continuous development for you.

In that case I'll have to try and get some titanium thumb screws machined up! Joking aside, a very simple, good tip that is only obvious once it's been pointed out.

I'm glad I did the 3 Wheeler book, but writing car books, even if somebody offers you a huge advance (and they do not!), is a really hard slog. I agree with you that Molly has a great deal of knowledge of everything about the 3 Wheeler, as have a few others such as Calum. If somebody offered me 100,000 (almost any currency except drachmas) I'd be interested. I do not feel confident that that will happen.

One of the 'old' three wheeler boys pointed out to me recently there is zsus style fastener available , finning an M5 thread that would do this job , just one 90 degree turn and its off - sounds good but I have never been able to find it !

If anyone finds an online source for the thumb-screw fasteners let us know. French hardware stores are useless for anything like this!
