Just looked in catalogue and kit number is INDBUZ. All you need to do is determine which wire does what at the indicator switch.

Green with White tracer and Green with Red tracer from memory.

This will do the job and already has two isolated positive feeds for those worrying about (electrickery) diodes, it comes with line taps and tywraps £5.25. Bob the Train got one recently.

All you need is to wire the coil of a relay across the left side and the right side.

The feed from one side earths in to the other but won't light the lights on the other side bulbs.

Then a 12v feed to the points of the relay, and the output will power extra warning lights, buzzers or a bonnet mounted bat light if you really need prompting!

(Some cheap buzzers only work with voltage in one direction, hence the relay)

I agree with Martyn Culling's way as I have done this method on my +8 and lately on my S4 Aero.

Seems like i am just too late. The web page has disappeared since last week and i notice the director and company secretary has resigned. I wonder if the product will appear elsewhere.

I was going to recommend the audible flasher that i bought a good while ago from ebay for £16, but i just checked if they are still available, they are but they are now £49…

They are very good, but at that price hike , i think not.

Andy, does your S4 Aero have a Canbus system?

My Plus 8 has an indicator sounder that works, sometimes. I want to make something much louder, but am concerned that adding anything to the system will cause the canbus system to have a problem.

Also, do you know where the indicator relay is? I can't find it in the massive electronics box, if it is there it isn't obvious.

The indicators on my 8 cancel as well as any car I've driven... normal operation in other words. There is no factory fitted audio bleep though.

The indicators on my Roadster rarely cancelled (which was potentially dangerous) and I had considered fitting a sounder.

I fitted a motorcycle designed unit (similar to those on eBay) to my S1 Aero8.

I couldn't get it to work with any of the wires from the actual indicator stalk;tried every which way using a multimeter to no avail so I suspect there is a (partial) Canbus system in operation.

No problem I thought,I'll piggy back onto the dashboard indicator warning lights; again,no joy - they are hidden well up behind the dash and are mounted on a rail (hope one never fails....).

Like Peter, I still can't find the relay itself (initially ,I was going to replace this with an electronic ,sounder unit which would also deal with the LED's/flash rate which replaced the bulbs)

In the end, I took a feed from each of the rear indicator light units via the boot and mounted the buzzer inside the car on the rear bulkhead. It seems a bizarre place but actually works quite well being right behind the drivers seat - particularly when the top is down.

The only other issue was that the supplied buzzer worked on the bench test but not on the car;I suspect Jon the Chief's explanation (above) has sussed this.I replaced with a larger,Maplin sourced buzzer and all was well.

I have to say, I feel a lot more comfortable knowing that I have not forgotten to switch the indicators off when the self cancelling fails to operate (which seems to be often!!).I'm surprised at how common the problem appears to be ;I thought it was just my car;clearly TADTS..... smile
