I had a recent conversation with an "anonymous" insider who shared the official S&S/Morgan Stage 1 Kit should be ready to go around August 1st. Kit performance has been dyno-tested conservatively with the following results...

The current 121" X-Wedge motor puts 75 HP and 86 Pound Feet of torque down at the rear wheel. The kit will bump those numbers to 90 HP and 110 Pound feet of torque at the rear wheel. The kit comes with an S&S Stealth Muscle air cleaner, new exhaust and replacement ECU that unlocks certain performance tune parameters currently restricted. The new ECU will be applicable to future tune upgrade.

That should shorten the life of all the rear end then ! 5000 miles down to 2500 so better have some spare sprockets when you go on tour.

Presumably that's the post-cooling fan ecu figures all round? Impressive if true!

A very similar increase to that claimed by Garage 56 for their Stage 1 kit, without the replacement ECU. (+16 bhp and 21 ft.lbs )

There's already a Morgan AeroRacing Stage 1 kit of Air Filter and Exhausts.

New price now £752 plus VAT (and fitting if required).

I wonder if the "new" kit replaces this?
