Hi Rik,

I don't know if you have joined the Club yet, but it's worth it just for this one event. wine flag

As I said before Quentin does a great job and the track circuits and VIP rides gives one an opportunity to see the track first-hand.
Personally, I much prefer it to the 'real' race which has become a bit of a chavtastic beer-fest! cheers frown

Brian,

not in the cowsheds, where all is very civilised in the morgan ranks. its the flippin Danes what drink all the beer!!

we stick to good red and armagnac, its the way to go.
I enjoyed the classic last year, but found it too much of a garden party atmosphere, the racing/cars seemed to take 2nd place to the social thing.

Hi Rob,

After trogging around Africa most of the year, the last thing I want to do is stop in a cowshed (tented or otherwise!); even if Dallas tried to make me do it some years ago. ooo

The Auberge on the Mulsanne enables one to engage in the garden party, but also to watch the racing. We'll be there next year, maybe we should have a TM mini-meet at the Classic? wine

Hi, I am awaiting the word to collect my 4/4 from Lifes Motors in Southport. I am looking forward to the drive and learning more of the Morgan experience... it already feels like more than just car ownership!

You could have a great scenic A-road drive from Southport to Berkshire - e.g. via Wrexham, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, MALVERN, Cirencester. And many other possiblities besides including into the Welsh Marches.

If you do decide to visit the factory, you can make a reservation.

Hope for good weather! I had a wonderful trip collecting my 4/4 from Exeter and driving it back to North Yorkshire, mostly on A and B roads, more than 300 miles over 2 days with an overnight stay with friends in the Midlands.

hope itsnot ahijack but could someone expand a bit on the le Mans trip. Like how do you organise it, tickets, camping locations and costs, things to watch for / to do.

I'd like to go but dont know anyone who can advise.

Howard. Are you talking about a) The annual 24 hours Le mans race that is for current dars, or b) The Classic le mans that will happen next in 2010 (every two years)?
