We did a few in Nairobi. BBQ was great as I cooked but it didn't feel right

But I'd beg to differ, at dusk (as with dawn a risk time to be driving out here away from big centres) a kangaroo hopped out in front of us on Sunday. Must have been inches off the bumper. Some heavy breaking and it just hopped off. Taller than the car. Could have been very messy.
