Williams are now producing their own range of radiators....might be worth talking to them. I'm having one fitted to Nero soon. Richard told me about them, but they as yet haven't developed one to suit my era of 4/4. They are going to keep me updated.

I liked my heavy original metal radiator but it suffered from a weak core. Raysons rebuilt it with a stronger and slightly larger core a couple of years back. Been fine so far and runs nice and cool.

I bumped into a daily driving Morgan owner last week who has gone through 3 radiators since 2003 including a Mulfab one and he has a brass one made by a small workshop and chap near MMC in Malvern and he swears by it, no issues and has lasted the longest
Someone on here might know who the brass rad maker is Perhaps Steve at VSM would know.

I have just fitted a Mulfab radiator to my 2002 4/4. Very nice piece of work. They are now using the same radiators as the +8 so longer and they have new brackets that hang off the cross brace rather than the steering rack as this was flexing and causing issues with some failures. Apart from being lower I had to remove a 'baffle box' on the side of the standard Zetec Air Box (just unclip and tug) to allow the top house uninterrupted flow. It doesn't seem to serve any purpose though as it was taking air from below the air filter. (Sorry for pic quality)  CHECK YOUR BOTTOM HOSE though (as it leaves the engine and goes to metal pipe as mine was nearly rubbed through on the engine mount.  I also fabricated a bracket to 'hang' the cross over pipe to keep the hose off the mounting. (Just seen that rust - another job!)

Mulfab radiators every time, why buy a copy of something that's perfect? I have had Peters radiators in my cars since 2002, never had a failure. My 2008 +4 sheared its top outlet on the factory radiator, I have since heard from many other owners that theirs did the same, and the Mulfab radiator is a superb piece of engineering. These items are not cheap so I did not want to risk going to something unknown when there is such a track record of quality products, it helps that they are 20 miles from me as well ;-).

Little bit of back peddling here. Noticed it this evening, slight weep from top of core one side. What is it about these radiator? Grrrrrr
