Thought that it might be interesting to see how us TMer's use our cars. Not sure if this has been done before. 1 Month to vote.

My average over the past 4yrs is just over 5,000miles, but I did 8,700 in 2012-13- must have been that trip to Bretagne after Le Mans Classic. ps Adrian, you've suggested 1 month to vote, but it's going to drop off 'Newest topics' long before then. Is there any way to 'pin' items like this?

Just voted. I appear to be the only one at my mileage band (and it's not 1-2k!)

I'm on the cusp!
My car will be 35 years old in October and has currently done 34918 miles. Assuming that I do more than 82 miles in the next 3 months, I edge into the 1 to 2K category by the slimmest possible margin.

Hi Gerry, This year I am similar to you, I expect to do 4-5K per year, this year I did and extra 2k due to the ECU testing, not really bothered as I enjoy the Roadster too much and to be honest look for any excuse to drive it. The Plus 8 I did 7.5K mile in 2.5 years of ownership, but for 8 months could not drive it due to the neck injury and operation, so I probably would have done 4-5k otherwise. I know of no way to pin up top, unless a moderator chooses to do so, maybe Simon will if we ask him nicely? See you on 25th July, Saturday at Wiscombe for the Hillclimb. No passenger seat so I can't offer a ride up the hill I'm afraid.

That's terrible, Geir, only about 100 miles per year. The first owner of my car lived in central London and did only about 1,000 miles each year. According to the paperwork I got when I bought it, he'd had about 3 batteries fitted in roughly 6 years- just lack of use, I guess. Glad to see your car is now being properly enjoyed.
