Hi Guys,
My car is still in build and it will probably not be in my possession for another two weeks or so, just in time for our two grandsons coming to stay for a couple of weeks! Then we go on holiday. So please go ahead and meet up without me this time. I'm sure there will be more occasions when I have the car and am free to join you but thanks for thinking of me.

Hi Kingpin,
Decided not to go for side exit exhausts, I prefer the look from the rear of the car with the four tail pipes. I have been used to side pipes on my S3 Aero so I may well miss that lovely burble in my ears. If I do, I know that Librands do a nice set of replacement sports silencers that will give it more bark from the rear.
John Like you I've had several Aero 8's in various guises with side pipes, but love the look of the Plus 8 with the four tail pipes. It doesn't sound bad either with the sports exhaust...   Leaving the Works on collection:

I like the lowered number plate too... is that something that could be altered easily on mine I wonder?
How do you store you side screens by the way?

Easily lowered Neil, though it does cause a problem with the luggage rack mounting. As you can see after consultation they passed the mountings through the number plate surround and this looks OK I think. I'm afraid I did not bring a camera with me to TOTH  and the car is now having PPF film fitted and then goes back to the Works for a few final bits and pieces to be added. I'm afraid that I was rather too much caught up in the moment to take too many on my iPhone, so to-date I'm reliant on people sending me copies of photos I've taken. If anybody has some please let me know... It will be at the Bell & Colvill open day on 1st August 2015 on request, but I'll not be there as I'm away on business.  When I get back I'll have a photo session and then post, as I've not seen any photos of the interior.

I was so taken with the colour Brian that hadn't got to the exhausts but now I 'be looked at them - it would (almost) be a shame to discolour them with smoke! I hope you record the sound of them so you can play it through surround sound in the house!

I saw Brian's car at the 'Cottage in the Wood' when we attended the TOTH and I can confirm that the colour is absolutely stunning. - I think our American cousins would say it 'pops'! Being new to Morgan ownership I had not met Brian before but spent a very pleasant evening chatting with him (and others) over dinner.I am sure he was quite amused to here me telling him all about my Aero8, not realising he has owned several - i.e. been there and got the T-shirt !!  I have to say though that Brian ,along with many others made our weekend 'Morganeering' very enjoyable;many thanks to all......  James
