Thanks guys for your very kind comments, I wanted the car to look 'Old Skool' but with modern paint, hence Rocket Blue! MMC have done a great job of building it, complete with cut-down windscreen and side screens, Tillett seats and some other bits and pieces.

I like the side-pipes on the Aero's, especially the Maxes and SS because as Ken says there is no natural line for rear pipes to sit under, plus they sound awesome. notworthy In my case it was though time for a change having had 5-Aero's in a row, the Plus 8 feels different to drive, keeping the good points of the Aero chassis/engine combination but in a Trad shell. flag uk flag

One more gratuitous photo taken at TOTH by someone and then I'll stop boring everyone...

Fabulous! No rear view mirror yet? But otherwise looks ready to rumble.

Hi, your car looks fantastic in the pics Jays took. Great choice of colour and the leather looks good with it. Time to buy a lottery ticket. grin2

Why don't you take Sue up to Williams to stroke the spaniels?

I tried to get him to go, they have a verry nice matte silver Plus 8 in the showroom, just waiting for him.
It is the ex Morgan Geneva show car from 2014.

Somehow I can just see Adrian in a Plus 8.....

Parked next to it was a very interesting early +8...
And no I did not succumb, even though it would have fitted down the driveway... smile smile

I keep looking at the pic of Brian's car taken at TOTH it looks absolutely superb. Whilst the lowered windscreen is a great idea the addition of the two spotlights really is the winner for me.
I've not seen a new +8 with spots before so I'm wondering if this is something you need to arrange in the factory build or can they easily be retro fitted?

I like the spots too.... The Plus 8 does have a broad frontage and the spots break that up. Not sure I'd want to fit them myself.

MMC used to offer them as an extra in the 80's when I had my first Plus 8. Like Neil I think the front on the new Plus 8 is rather wide and decided to get Morgan to fit them to balance the front of the car. They were able to eventually find just one pair of the brackets they used to use, though I'm sure they will get more made if there is enough demand, the backs of the Cibie's are sprayed body colour. wink

I'm sure that Morgan can retrofit them for anyone who would like a pair. wink
