Any more detailed specifications doing the rounds?

In theory with the smaller engine etc it should be a lighter car than the 3.0 V6 (that said I do like the laziness of a big engine) but with all the sound deadening and speaker whatnot I wonder if they have eaten into any weight savings.

I am growing more interested in seeing one of these especially on the cabin space side of things, and as the hand brake assembly has moved rearwards has the transmission tunnel reduced giving any significant benefit to the divers side? (the tunnels are hard edged under the leather anyway)

This car is growing on me..... innocent sorry wink

The interior dimensions look the same to me. As a Plus 4 that is. Expert opinion yesterday reckoned that on the track this spec could embarras a 3.0 Roadster. But also that for road use, rear drums are perfectly good enough.
I also heard from two sources that the most accomplished Trad to date for road use has been the Plus 4 Supersport. This one is expected to be better. But the one at the show is not a runner yet.The factory P4SS has been used to road test the engine and suspension - so I imagine that the earlier picture of the rear suspension with the inner wing cut away was that car.

I wouldn't have thought the first customer cars would be delivered before next summer, in the meantime, all those deposits will help the development costs.

Am I getting the feeling that, even at £60k [with a couple of options etc] on the road, this car is quite good value? What with the Cossie engine, uprated rear suspension, adjustable shockers all round, rear discs, as well as all the stuff like uprated sound system, decent hood insulation, fantastic headlights, uprated interior etc etc.

On top of all that is the fact that as a limited production run, it could actually hold its' price quite well over the years too?

If it had a bit more room in the back, I could be seriously, seriously interested, but there you are, no room behind the seats. [Think 3 terriers, a couple of bags as well as a large Waitrose shop, [my wife always does a large shop at Waitrose] The 4 seater copes really well, but I do not want or need that really ugly seat belt tower at the back or the horrible hood the 4 seater is burdened with.]
