I had to have my fun in the 'front' of a Triumph Spitfire. Grief, that handbrake can cut in............ And dont forget to have the 1st or 3rd gear engaged, otherwise... Do not try it ON the front. The hood is not strong enough. Knowledge based on practical experience

Ray, right you are - but my poor English language skills are based on an employment with an American company. You have to apologise...

My cousin who I helped find a +4 a good few years ago was into sports cars and women , but he did not tell his wife about the women. She came home and caught him in the garage bent over his TR6 bonnet with his trousers around his ankles but no duster in his hand . He said mogs are crap on the bonnet not enough room , she divorced him . His F/in law sold all his companies to Caterpillar . A case of set for life but brain is between legs and throws it all away .

I also notice a factual error in the last line I.e. Never had so much fun in a car. Not true. There was that night with Margaret in the back of my 1964 Holden, at the drive-in. Where is she now? Margaret, not the Holden. Wow! Now I know why she dumped me, I only had a '56 Austin A40. But I do agree about the fun in the back seat bit, even if it did require a bit of athletics Rear of a mk2 GT6 is interesting, if a little cramped, those were the days! This thread reminds me of a film called The Car all about a red e-type quite amusing if you have not seen it.
