Drove IndianMad's Plus 8 yesterday, engine took me back to my V8 TVR days, great car.

Then into the 4/4 for some pointless Hoon, great car but I would rather be retired than keep it!

A trip to St Albans yesterday to visit CAMRA headquarters (I had a meeting). Saw a bright red two seater on the A41 on the way home to Aylesbury, but it was travelling in the opposite direction, so I didn't get to wave.

we made a nice trip with the 4plus under a hot sun ! Must and still say it's a amazing car for cruising even we have the GTN at home ... 2 different cars, each his own aspects, the GTN invites "race" attidude, the 4plus enjoying the scenary... glad i can experience both ! Amazing, one do not need 350 HP to enjoy driving ... not in a trad ... laugh

A lovely drive out yesterday to the Derbyshire branch of the Donkey Sanctuary (next door to Bull I' Th' Thorn on the A515 around 6 miles south of Buxton) as bidden by SWMBO. A pleasant afternoon's drive - only spoiled by surface dressing work on the A515 in and north of Ashbourne - ON A SUNDAY.

Returned via a different route and really enjoyed the Derbyshire / Staffordshire Moorlands scenery.

Just completed the 465 mile round trip to Aberystwyth, then back via St Fagans(Cardiff) and calculated the average mpg from fill up figures and this comes out at 35.5mpg. For a 3.7 Roadster cruising on the motorways at 70-75mph, and bumbling around the Welsh mountains I think this is excellent. We had a lovely time with roof off nearly all the time only on for about 30 minutes at Aberystwyth. drive

Went down to Wycombe to get tickets for the Fawley event later in the month from Terry Tedman.

Came back across the Chilterns the long route.

Great after 2 weeks of diesel Renault Megan estate 5 up in Spain.
