You are only as old as the woman you feel!
Came upon an old man in the park recently -sitting on a bench in tears. I asked him what was the matter and he explained he was 99 years old and had just married a gorgeous 20 year old who regularly took him to the heights of extasy & was a brilliant cook to boot. I said "Why are you crying then?" He replied " I can`t remember where I live!"
The old ones are the best (& not just women!) A similar one! Old boy goes to the doctor. OB "I seem to have problems maintaining an erection" Doc "How old are you?" OB "88" Doc "Well that is only to be expected at your age: when did you first notice the problem?" OB "Twice last night and once this morning"

Read about Patrick Stewart the other day, he's 75, his waitress wife Sunny Ozell 34....now tell me Sunny, what first attracted you to the multi millionaire film star Patrick Stewart? It's obvious - he knows how to energise. By the way, I like the "halve your age plus 10" formula. I need to find a 41 year old...............

I thought you might like a womans perspective on this.JTL is 10 years older than me but when we met I thought he was 24 and he thought I was 20.My parents were not too keen on me dating someone 10 years older than me but he made me happy and we had a lot of fun together, and still do. We have known each other for 39 years and been happily married for 32 years this month. Yes we do have the odd disagreemnet but then who doesn't.So my advice is if this young lady makes you happy than go for it you have got nothing to loose and possibly a lot to gain.

This year is my 70th - been married to the same woman for 46 years. . The last thing I would want is a 19 year old or even a 25 year old. There are more interesting things to do with my time.

Two points:
1) At 35 11 years is 31% but at 55, 11 years is 20% - the age difference matters less as you grow older together.
2) I would be more concerned about the potential impact on Henry's lap times if evenings and weekends start to take on a different purpose.
Seriously - if it feels right to both of you and you make each other happy then there is no problem.

You have no need to worry,I am aware of most things which John posts on this forum as we have no secrets between us.I often have a good laugh at the things that he tells me, but I don't read his posts, or any of your comments without John knowing about it. John added this personally I prefer this.
