Just a note to say hello. I have been lurking on here for some time and thought I ought properly to join in. I don't own a Morgan yet, but it is my plan to put that right at the earliest possible opportunity. My brother and I hired a 4/4 Sport form the factory about three years ago and I have been hooked ever since; only to reinforce the addiction with a recent drive in an early '90s +8.
A long list of interesting cars has passed through my hands over the years, including various old Land Rovers with V8 engines, an MG Midget, a Rover P6 V8, a Jaguar Sovereign and a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. My current folly is a 1932 Standard Big 9, which is ideal for a steady bumble around the local Cotswold lanes, but will never win a race.
I have already picked up some useful tips on what to look for in a Morgan and have read more than once that my Morgan will find me, so I suppose it is just a case of getting out there and trying a few...
