Hi folks,

First, thanks for all the information and support as I've journeyed to become an M3W owner.

Second, I racking up miles on the new sweetie and I thought I would share some pictures. There are a few differences that I didn't expect but I'm please with.

1. The wind screen came in much shorter than any other M3W I've seen. There's no accounting for it from Morgan or the dealer. A stock wind screen would deflect much more wind, however I think this makes it look even sportier. Total height of the screen is 2.75" vertical rise or 3.5" racked length.

2. The break calipers came in silver... which I like so much better than the black. The Morgan logo is also color matched to my wheels and interior.

3. I swapped the air cleaner with the S&S Stealth Muscle cleaner. I think it provides and enhanced balance to he black and chrome of my configuration.

4. The exhaust is wrapped with DEI Titanium exhaust wrap in gold. I think it matches well with the bronze coloring that natural occurs to the chrome exhaust and works great with my white finish.

5. The headlights have been replaced with J W Speaker 8700 evolution II's. Though the look is not retro like the M3W styling, I think they look great and the difference in lighting is huge.

6. Of course I added the standard badge bar. I love look with out the bar or plate, however I have ordered a fantastic set of 4" fog lights that work great with the head lights. The fog light mounting bracket will place the lights centered between the S&S cover and exhaust.

Again, thanks for the welcome, feed back and support. This is a great forum.

The colour is nice. The windscreens remind me of the Austrailian spec but in clear, the propotion of the windscreens to the roll bars looks off, i prefer the old screens. Enjoy

Looks great. The red wheels go well with the interior. I'm interested in how you find the low screens as mine has them too. There are options

Gorgeous looking car, those red wheels on a white car really pop!

Look forward to hearing your driving impressions...

I did mine almost exactly the same but I removed the front plate for the license. All it did was collect bugs and deflect air from the engine. The badge bar is a nice touch and I have no intention of adding any club badges. It is a token bar to keep whatever from hitting the grill master! The titanium wrap is starting to fray a bit but the JW Speaker lamps are the best! The muscle air cleaner will help in response time but, according to my dealer, the reason that hockey puck cover was used was to lower the dB's from the air intake in order to conform to the overall noise level. I do hear a difference. You can really hear it breathing now.

The screens are different. I'm not sure if they would work for me. The normal screen height means that the air deflection hits the top of my head. Most caps will stay on. Baseball caps are goners if I look to the sky to see an eagle or whatever. Where does the air hit you?

Enjoy your ride!

Air hits just above a ball cap brim. Definitely can't look skyward or it's a goner. I didn't notice any increase in Db from the air cleaner change, but then again I don't hear so well according to my wife... or maybe that was I don't listen :-).

My last project, this season, will be getting the fog lights installed. The mock ups really change the look of the front end making it seem wider and lower. I'm a tinkerer at heart love to try different set ups. I'm sure some will be awful and I'll have to undo them, but others will be interesting and beautiful, only time will tell, but that's what toys are for.

Good to hear about the air flow. A friend of mine suggested the same with a low screen Lotus7 clone. I love your thinking about personalising. I feel the same.

My brother from NZ is on his way to Portland for an 8-day Model Train Expo and then train ride from Vancouver to Alberta. He's on a 3 month adventure of a life time to the US West.
