Me or the car Dave?? Not thinking of selling the Mog, just a possible impractical future replacement for the Saab...

Now that you mention it.....................
The S1 might be a tad narrower than the S2 but it's about Roadster width.

Graham.....getting into an Elise is MUCH easier than getting out. You can "fall" in ..... The wide sills are like walls to climb over to get out! I did a trackday in an Exige at Silverstone couple yrs ago. The hard top made entry a bit odd but once in...felt like a bespoke suit! I felt like a jet pilor! Back in the pits after the drive was a "swallow my dignity and amuse the crowd" as I eventually got out. Method....... Belts off Lean out to place hands on ground. Twist body Walk on hands until legs were free Left leg out Right leg out Stand up Shake like a wet dog Walk away as if nothing happened. Hear the chuckles of onlookers. What a car though! Elise without the top on would be a tad easier to get out of.

I love it Philip. That's almost exactly how I had to extricate myself from a pal's 47 Replica (Europa effectively), back in the late 70s. Eventually I found a slightly more dignified process! Watching George (SpotMog Centre Sec - "Gin" on here) getting into one at Williams the other week I realised how high the sills were. Friends tested one a number of years ago, they both had trouble exiting and she couldn't reach the pedals... Ended up with a Z3 instead...
