Like Soleng I had a Harpers s/s exhaust on the Kent engine - made it sound like a two litre -and on both cars after that. Each time I went for the side exit pipe. So if you want a bit of rumble that will do it.

I will check the Harpers although side exit is a bit problematic as I do like it when SWMBO is navigator. I don't want to put her off. It being right hand drive and left side exit she would cop an earful. But something has to be done... Thanks.

How about the Harpers or similar exhaust (I have one) but with a LH earplug for SWMBO

I think (judging were the tailpipe exits) the exhaust for blacktop Zetec comes down the right hand side so in the UK it would side exit on the drivers side

No Stewart, the Zetec has a left side exhaust and the Duratec a right side exhaust. My "Blacktop" Zetec is as Stewart describes and the exhaust runs along the driver's side.

Correct Eric. The Blacktop zetec runs down the RHS.

So....is blacktop full fat and silver topped semi skimmed.....or vice versa?
