I may have to do this on an up and back same day. Can't get dogs sorted to enable a stopover.  Same for Vulcan at Old Sarum couple days before.... If I do go then  won't be able to as she will have to look after dogs. Now........how do I break the news!!!!!

Regrettably I'll not be able to attend. While I don't know the size of the London flypast in 1946 led by Douglas Bader, this event could be bigger in respect of plane types. 40 Spitfires and Hurricanes in the air at once - in the same place is a lot of 12 cylinder aero engine noise. See here
