In hindsight I just may have done things differently, just saying. Especially when Morgan ping you £1500 for an overseas car when the NZ spec is exactly the same as the UK one. Plus the extra freight costs in NZ which is probably around $1500nz. I've noticed some UK dealers offering a world-wide service.

That's interesting. When I bought my first Three Wheeler in April 2012, I bought it through a well known dealer at the bottom of Cornwall, and as I live closer to the factory, not only was he going to charge me £300 or £400 for collection, he would have driven practically past my door, so I took my trailer up to the factory and collected it myself, registered it and then took it down to him for PDi a few weeks later, with a few hundred miles on the clock, truth to tell though, I don't think it needed much doing to it at all, and it had a bevel box which was all but silent, so they do exist.

It's a shame your Christchurch dealer wasn't so obliging Philip?

Our friends in South Africa bought their M3W though a UK dealer and the car was trailered direct from the factory to the shippers without so much as seeing the dealer.

Likewise, after the factory test drove & double checked it was airfreighted to me..As its the first m3w in the middle east & there is no dealership in sight.I drove it a few 100miles.Then i
-tightened the oil hose clamps to the engine.
-bleeded the front brakes as it was pulling to the left..
-adjusted the clutch abit more as i felt it wasnt engaged as much as i would liked it to.
-tightened the hex bolts around the interior.
-adjusted the front wheels, maybe because of the tie downs on the plane, it changed the aligment abit.
-changed all the bobbins as i have ordered better quality bobbins. The factory ones are really terrible.

remove the cover above the pedals. Loosen the nut on the clutch rod..twist the rod so the pedal pushes more on the clutch master cylinder..then tighten the nut..a 10min job...
