We were there and it was a fabulous and enjoyable day. We were there with tickets arranged by Mog Mag. Unfortunately I must critisise the organisation by Mog Mag. The glass of champagne was lovely thanks but: The Morgans should have been parked inside the fence, There should have been a roped off are for the Morganisti, There should have been some picnic tables inside said roped off area, and, Mog should have had a reasonable sized marquee to give a little shelter in the case of a downpour.
Sure this requires a little more expense. It could have been paid for out of a percentage of the ticket (there was really no need for a discounted price), and a little merchandising plus signing people up for subscriptions. I'm sure some sponsors could have been found to display a few of their products.
After all we Morganisti deserve a little special treatment and we were quite prepared to put our cars on display for everyone that attended the event.

I was there with the Mog Mag entourage as well and for a first effort it was ok, the Prosecco was very nice. Major issue I had was that our cars were parked outside the fence with access through a gate in the fencing. No problem except that during the torrential rain in the morning I went back to the car to collect the umbrella to try and pacify my wife but found the gate locked, which remained the case throughout the day, and the only way back to the car was through the main entrance which took an extra 30 minutes by which time my other half was soaked and not happy. Being Morgan owners we improvised later on and I climbed the fence several times to collect our picnic and chairs etc. Agree with Gambalunga but don't think it would take much to make a big difference.

To be fair, the Chateau Impney security/MogMag staff did tell the majority of drivers the gate would only be open until 10:00. It was an emergency exit, should things have gone terribly wrong. That we were allowed through before 10:00 was a bonus. It would have been nice to park the other side of the fence though

Watched the TV Programme tonight.
It was good but way too short!
Some great cars too. Too little coverage of the Morgan three wheelers....but I am a tad biased. we will go next year ..but it was an ask too far his year ..day after TOTH!

You won'tbe disappointed. Despite the heavy rain storm it was a spectacular first event.

Yes, worth watching although I think the lensman was a bit focussed on the girls, Hannah Entiknap was seen both in person and driving, and Sue Derbyshire's Mog was seen during the end credits.

The comments regarding MOG Mags lack of organistion are inaccurate and uncharitable.
MOG Mag had no control over the parking arrangements. Other than static cars displayed on dealer stands, the CI didn't want any cars parked within the grounds as it was part of their safety plan to restrict vehicle movements. It was MM who negotiated the Morgan parking next to the fence with restricted access via the gate. Okay, perhaps not brilliant but better than joining the other car clubs in the designated parking areas that were located well away from the venue.
The factory would have loaned them the star shaped tent, chairs, tables and a kitchen sink if it was needed, but there was the slight matter of breaking it down and carting it over from Shelsley Walsh and then reassembling it at an event that had already been going for a day.
However, I am sure MOG Mag will note your comments and try harder next year!

Hello everyone,
Just a note to say redmorgan is right, we couldn't be inside for for safety reasons (any vehicles on the inside couldn't leave until 7pm). It wasn't ideal and we're sorry for any inconvenience. Plans are in place for an improved place next year, we'll take your comments on board and will discuss with Chateau Impney.
Many thanks all!
