At the end of the day, something is worth what somebody else will pay.
A very full specification suggests that little more needs doing to win races. Like any other winning car though, it does need a driver who is up to it. A +8 with 385 bhp at the wheels is a very powerful car and won't take any prisoners.
I hope the purchaser does also buy the number plate - and legally revert the +8 to it. The car certainly is famous as 99 OK as that was the registration Matthew Wurr used it as, I've seen it many times wearing this plate.
Added, little bit disingenuous of Williams saying the car can wear the number-plate for track or race, nothing to stop us all putting that plate on all of our cars for track use only as it means nothing legally, there is no copyright on number-plates.
