I am a little nervous (first Morgan) but really looking forward to getting the car, the spec ticks all the boxes for me

Are you going for power steering on yours?

Well done Dave I am sure you will have a load of fun in the P4. I am not having power steering.

I have to add that my decision to change from Molly to the AR P4 has been a soul search. I wanted a Mog since I was a boy; especially as one of my mates was a motoring correspondent who owned a crazy lime green Plus 8 during my 20's (and was on the front cover of the Company brochure at the time) and I came to the top of the waiting list in the 90's but had to let my turn go as my saved cash turned into some fields in Worcestershire from my late father-in-law's estate.

The combination of my wife being diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease and then a good mate dying aged 45 convinced my that life is too short and so I had Molly built in 2007, and saw that process every day.

I've loved the whole experience of Morgan ownership. In a job where I rush from one meeting to the next, I love being in Molly when I choose to take the long way round instead. I love people stopping outside my office to admire her, take photos and chat about her. My island hopping trip to the Outer Hebrides in her last year was one of the high points of my life.

Unfortunately I cannot afford two Morgans so to have an AP P4 meant Molly going. But it is time for one of those Life is Too Short moments again. My dear daughter (26) did say that she found my decision shocking - "I'd have been less surprised if you said you were leaving Mum."

I feel a bit unfaithful, but I think the P4 is going to be fantastic.

You are too right, life is short and good health in the future is not guaranteed. Enjoy life while you can.
