You just have to be a far better player than I am , trying to learn to play in my late 60s! With short stubby arthritic fingers. The cat has left home.

I'm in much the same boat Howard....a guitar and banjo and I have to wait until the neighbours are at work before I "play"

Very nice looking..

I still pick up my Martin 6str now and again- not good enough anymore for my 12str. Maybe when I retire I'll have more time to still play badly. I've got an original Matrix somewhere in the loft- one of the kids sat on it and cracked it many years ago. Might try and find it one day- it was a great gig guitar.

It's not a real guitar and you have to wear a long black leather coat to be able to play it, having taken the correct pill.

In a similar vein, I just bought a Matchless, a Spitfire no less. And not a motorcycle nor warbird in sight

That Matchless is lovely, I bet it goes really well with the Tele. I am on a new guitar moratorium for a while, but I have sneaked one of those Yamaha THR10C amps into the living room. Fortunately it meets with SWMBO's approval, probably because it's a good deal quieter than the Mesa Boogie smile

Banjo - yes my son used to play and his banjo is lying idle I've threatened my wife that I'd like to take it up smile

It's quite a fine Deering, here is a pic of him taken with the Deering family just after purchase
