We are on a five day Tour. Spent yesterday morning with Logmog on a Run over Salisbury Plain and through some really lovely villages followed by lunch . We were made so welcome by all:)) Big thanks to PeterJ for a great route. For me that's what makes the Morgan experience so enjoyable. Off now to Cricket St Thomas/ Lyme Regis for three days. And as a wonderful bonus the weather is excellent too!
We had a lovely drive, at moderate speeds, over Exmoor, via Dunkery Beacon, with views out over the Bristol Channel, with our 3 terriers in the back, tea at Boeveys Tea Rooms in Simonsbath, but the point of my post is that as we drove into Exford, on the Edgecott Road, and about 200 yds before The Crown, I happened to spot a dark coloured Mog parked in a driveway on the left, with what could have been an XK140/150 next to it, and wondered if it was anyone on here?
First to TESCO today, not the nearest store, no reason, but the SUN was out. Next took the dog to the beach for a paddle and a run. No great mileage, but a nice afternoon out in the sun.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.
Just the normal run forth and back to work (never understood back and forth?) After a gloriously sunny day the mog was riddled with dew this evening after work with a clear star strewn sky as a reward on the trip home Pegasus taking a commanding position in the southern part of the sky

A lovely drive home from the airfield after a days instructing - a great way to wind down. Listen to the radio in traffic and on the sweeping country roads its drowned out by the superb exhaust note from the duratech.
A cold misty drive to the factory this morning and then a pleasant drive down to Williams late afternoon to meet up with Jochen (Numog) and a couple of his friends who'd come over from Germany and just had a nice Thai meal and staying overnight in Chipping Sodbury. The cars are all nicely bedded down for the night at Williams...guarded by the spaniels no doubt!

this will be the second consecutive day I haven't driven my Morgan in over a week as my local council have suddenly decided to throw thousands of dusty loose stones over long parts of all the roads leading into my village in a pathetic short sighted attempt at resurfacing and it just pains me to hear the blighters hitting the underside of my wings and seeing the clouds of white dust thrown up by the traffic

Great run up from Williams today back to the factory closely followed by Jochen (Numog) in his rather tasty 3.7 and his friends Heinz and Pieter in their 3.0 which had just been treated to a remap by Williams.......a quite spirited drive!
