My 2012 UK car came with those plastic covers. I was told it's to ensure the wheel has no sharp edges that could hurt a pedestrian. They were off the car in 2 mins and have been in my garage ever since.
So far I have only injured 27 pedestrians with the sharper edges of the knock-on centres hub covers!
A small price to pay for aesthetics.

Hi Paul. I'm yet to meet another Morgan owner in NZ but I have had a few emails and have joined the club. I had a quick look at P964's car after I had ordered. I've been purposely avoiding until my car arrived. Only a couple more days until I get it home.
It's been an experience to say the least.

Any idea of the ETA ? Sunday there is a Blue Ribbon charity bike run from Pakuranga to Albany. Weather permitting i intend to do the run in Henri, with a friend who has a BMW bike

It went on the train today. They say Monday latest or hopefully Friday. Of course I'm hoping even earlier. I mean, where can it go? There is only one track, where can it stop? Everything just drags out, a day here, a day there. Getting information is like extracting teeth. I haven't been given a consignment number so I have no idea where it is until it turns up. As soon as it arrives I'll let you know and we can fly a sortee.

The track was too narrow for the carriages and needed to be transshipped in ADL...too two weeks. Hope yours is quicker!
