Shock news to hear the sudden passing of Richard Gilbert.
Shocked and saddened to lose such a nice genuine man and true Morgan enthusiast.

Very sad. Shocking news.
Richard was always friendly and would go out of his way to say "hello"
at many of the events where he was out taking photographs.

Commiserations to his family and friends.

I'm really sad to hear that news. He was always so jolly and friendly. Such a sad loss for his family as well.

As others have said, very very sad news. Richard was a most pleasant and helpful guy and also a great photographer. He was a real asset to the Morgan community and is quite irreplaceable.

We will all miss him tremendously and our heart goes out to his family at this most difficult time. May his gentle soul RIP.

I heard early this morning and was utterly shocked at the news. He's been a great friend of mine since I first asked him to get out of the way of my camera shot at Prescott over four years ago...we hit it off and have had some great times together...recently at Bicester on a photo shoot where we went places we shouldn't have, like a pair of naughty schoolboys. This evening I automatically waited for my usual phone call from him which always started with a rather deep and sonorous "Richard Gilbert here". I've been close to tears all day and I'm going to miss him greatly. He was a wonderfully kind and generous man who had time for everyone, a great photographer and a man of boundless energy and enthusiasm.
R.I.P Richard,

Very sad news indeed, I only met Richard a couple times, a lovely chap, and great fun. My sympathies go to his family and friends at this difficult time.

A really lovely man who will be truly missed by family and friends and of course by us here.

My sincere condolences to all his family and friends and of course no least young James.

RIP Richard.

Cheers
