Wow.
I love the shots of the back axle in motion. Very thoughtful place to put the camera. As you say the sound is stunning. Perhaps they could dub that onto the new F1 cars ?
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

My son found this one. A video from 1987. RUF Porsche at Nürburgring. The famous (to those who know her) 911 CTR "Yellowbird". Absolutely without any electronic help. Driver was the then chief testdriver of RUF. May be not all of you are aware of this video. http://youtu.be/OSMCfPASImQIt is quite impressive to see how he handles the car. In our times of ABS, ESP. PSM etc. not many drivers would be able to drive like that today. TBH I would even not desire her, even if I could afford her as she would kill me instantly. Here is some background info about RUF if you like, in English language. http://youtu.be/U9QoL0J0vSM

I hope it is not too much Porsche stuff on TM. At least this is the only thread about Porsches here and I'm happy it is allowed and resonates a little bit. For me, it is fantastic to see the view on Porsches from the angel of Morgan drivers and Morgan enthusiasts. This distinguishes this thread from the regular Porsche sites.
BTW my last post regarding the RUF was intended to be focussed more on the driving skills than on the brand. My post before (Porsche 908) wanted to show a cool engine sound in general, not urgently a Porsche engine sound. Your new link, Clipper, of the classics video is nevertheless very nice photographed and shows some beautiful cars.
If the TM community or the TM makers feel better about it to close this thread we should do so to keep the focus on Morgans.

Surely we are a bunch of car enthusiasts on here? So please keep this one going! The driving skill in the video of Yellow Bird going around the 'Ring was amazing!

Fantastic video Heinz and once again (vielen Dank) for sharing. The driver of the Yellowbird was a Master he was driving at 10/10ths, my heart was pounding just watching him. Just goes to show that in the hands of a very skilled driver an old 911 wont kill you, alas it would have killed me!!
I think there is room on this excellent forum for such debate about other cars. As Jays said we are car enthusiasts first and foremost.

And, having seen J's new Cayman yesterday morning, I would endorse the continuing Porker thread

Although I am not overly fond of Porkers, this thread does not detract from any of the other threads, so why stop it? It is, after all, in the "Non-Morgan" section.

Thanks guys, so we will continue to share and enjoy posts in the "non-Morgan" section, even if it is about Porsche
