I have been driving my m3w for about 3 months and hear a rattle coming from underneath. I can reproduce with the car off by shaking it. Any thoughts?

If it does not rattle, it's no M3W... evil

Please try to describe the "problem" as specific as possible.

Morgan owners worry when it stops rattling - then they know something`s dropped off.

Check the heat shield bolts, the rattle stopped just before getting home, the screw fell out!

Exhaust shield on mine zings before rattling.
A crack in the body around the exhaust mounting brackets can also rattle

I had to quit checking rattles because a lot of them come and go. The latest was the ignition housing against the dash. This one I did fix with a little sliver of wood. If I chased all the rest I'd never get to drive the thing-

Biggest culprit would be the heat shields. Two bolts on top, three on the bottom. Loctite will become your best friend.

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I hope we did not scare him away with our rattling comments.
Would have expected further explanations on his specific rattles.
