Stevemag & Ray: Thank you both for the welcome. Aren't we the lucky ones? Fabulous (Morgan) driving roads throughout the country.....and a Welcome In The Hillside to boot! Are you both in Taffmog?

Welcome to the forum.

I know how you feel about replacing the bike. In effect we did the same thing because long distance touring was starting to get a bit difficult on a bike. We really enjoy touring in the Morgan and have clocked up over 42,000 km in 42 months of ownership.

Enjoy your retirement drive

Gambalunga: Gratzie.....what a wonderful place to live. My wife and I were down that way a couple of years ago (sadly not in a Morgan) though we didn't make it to Lake Como, drove over from Zurich to Maggiore and Garda before heading North to Chamonix. Given your location I take it you spent time on a Moto Guzzi? George Clooney must be one of your neighbours!

Stevemag and Ray: Just wondering.....because when I first looked at the MSCC I couldn't find anything that served North West Wales - well not obviously anyway - but an enquiry to the Secretary steered me toward Devamog (listed as the centre for Cheshire and North East Wales). Taffmog was clearly South and Mid Wales but nothing for North West Wales, though I have subesequently learned that there was a centre loosely based on Anglesey but that it was now closed. I thought that it was a shame - just from a parochial perspective - that Taffmog didn't have 3 further subdivisions: South, Mid and North. So I am in North West Wales and part of Cheshire based Devamog.....not the end of the world as they seem a really nice bunch....they certainly gave me a warm welcome.....though clearly not the same as a 'Hillside Welcome'! Still, a rose by any other name.....
