same happened to me. Make sure you get the same springs for left & right cylinders. kit is .585" bigger springs, same load. S&S changed them after 2013 i think.

So sorry for owners hit with these issues...glad I chose a 4/4 instead for about the same money...trouble free (so far !!!) 10 months old with nearly 10,000 miles and it just gets better.

Thanks HJP - has anyone any experience of replacing a valve spring without removing the head? - I've heard some engines have tools available for this

Sorry !!! Glad I chose an Audi A1 - loads more mpg than yours and five years guarantee. And anyway, my dad's bigger than your dad. blah blah. Seriously, what's the point of your post? Just want to take the p*ss..?

Marc A valve spring broke on mine (4/4s do go wrong occasionally!) many years ago just after I'd had the engine rebuilt. The guy who'd done it came out to my place and replaced the spring very much like this video as far as I remember. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LucpQbaGtN0 It took him about five minutes.

Just make sure the bottom of the pushrod sits properly in the top of the hydraulic lifter when you tighten the rocker, use a torch down the lifter tube to check
