same happened to me. Make sure you get the same springs for left & right cylinders. kit is .585" bigger springs, same load. S&S changed them after 2013 i think.

Blimey - these engines are getting to be a bit of a bad joke!

So sorry for owners hit with these issues...glad I chose a 4/4 instead for about the same money...trouble free (so far !!!) 10 months old with nearly 10,000 miles and it just gets better.

Thanks HJP - has anyone any experience of replacing a valve spring without removing the head? - I've heard some engines have tools available for this

A valve spring broke on mine (4/4s do go wrong occasionally!) many years ago just after I'd had the engine rebuilt. The guy who'd done it came out to my place and replaced the spring very much like this video as far as I remember.

Just make sure the bottom of the pushrod sits properly in the top of the hydraulic lifter when you tighten the rocker, use a torch down the lifter tube to check
