Come on, concentrate at the back.

Its in the 3 wheeler section so is a S&S engine, there have been lots of comments that the crankshaft nut comes undone and punches its way to freedom through the timing cover. There is rumoured to be a modification to prevent tho hapening but for some reason seems to be a well kept secret as to what it is.

Didn't Williams Automobiles do something on this? Or am I mistaken again or just leaping in where fools fear to tread. I'll get back to what I am supposed to be doing to be safe. PJB.

What I assume is this mod has been done to mine after it spat out the drive pulley bolt recently.
I didnt see the kit before fitting, but I know at minimum it comprises new bolt assembly ( hex head , not torx ) drive pulley and I think idler pulleys.

Also .... the replacement timing cover has the spacer cast in ( no washers !! ) , two forward facing slits just under the horizontal ridges on the front face , and a small gap at the bottom. All to increase airflow I guess. If I can get out to the car I will post a picture.
